New Years Eve

well, it has come to our attention that the girls are going to be more of a financial burden than originally thought. they have decided not to allow for a tax break this year. all kidding aside, christy reports that she is feeling well, and is continuing to be a trooper.

now for the information all have been waiting for. if the girls do not come by thursday jan 3, we will be going to the hospital that evening and starting with the induction process. so i guess, that would mean most likely having the little ladies on jan 4, friday. we will certainly keep people posted as possible. i am planning o n having laptop at hospital to keep updates going. there may also be some pictures that day.

37 weeks appt

hello all, another appointment with the doctor is complete. the babies are reported to be doing fine at this time. the only change in status is the fact that christy's doctor is retiring and we met with her new doctor today. let me say that the new doctor is about 40 years younger than the last. so hopefully, this means no worry about more change.

the girls are continuing to want to stay put. there are rumors out there, that a pool has been started, if one of the fine readers of this blog are involved, let me just say that the first week in january may be looking kinda warm. and by the way, no calling for any inside information unless there is a payoff. p.s. family stay quiet about any particulars.

37 weeks

back by popular demand, the master of this page has decided to allow all others to put their eyes on the origianl map of the battle of the bulge. please bear in mind that this may be the last and only time, the entire package can be seen. have a great day.

x-mas

we would like to wish everyone a merry x-mas. no kiddos yet, it is about 7 pm and christy is just a chilling on the couch with no thoughts, intentions, ideas, suggestions or anything else that the girls are a coming tonight.

36 weeks

well here we are at 36 weeks and no kiddos to look at. had an ultrasound this week, but once again the girls would not cooperate for a profile. we did however get to find out that they are growing well.

the battle of the bulge is getting rather interesting. we have out of the lower position the challenger, baby a, who is moving up a weight class to take this championship go round. at this point she is leading the way, at a remarkable 6 lbs 1 oz.

then we move on to baby "the bruiser" b, coming off the top and making a run for retaining the title, weighing in at 7 lbs. yes folks that is accurate, bruiser has been in intensive training and has been able to add muscle weight, placing our challenger at a definite disadvantage. but do not worry much, baby a has some secret weapons just waiting for her sister.

christy has nothing to add when she was asked, she is definitely a trooper. the doctor has said no inducing unless we reach 39 weeks. and for christy's sake, i hope this does not happen. the girls have been putting on about 1/2 lb a week per kiddo. this does not add up well for christy's belly.

week 35

well, we made it another week. went to the doctor yesterday and were told everything looks and sounds good. doc thinks the kiddos will be here within 2 weeks. still more appointments next week, with the possibility of some pictures, another ultrasound.

as for the bedrest, it has been taxing on both of us. but the doctor has told her it is time to start doing some walking to help the girls start to descend more. this will be interesting as christy has some trouble getting around.

not much else to say, but hope all of my readers are doing well.

week 34

went to doctor today. heartbeats are still sounding good. the doctor commented that she would like to see christy go another 10 days. not sure if that means the kiddos will be here within 10 or not. according to christy, it is not going to happen early.


not much else to say, today. for those of you who dont know christy that well, yes i am keeping comments calm today as she is on the couch next to me. i do not feel like being abused this evening.

i would like to however add, that one of the little s____s (yes you guessed right, christy corrected me) kicked me yesterday when i was only trying to play with them. i mean the doctor can push on the belly, why cant i.

oh yah, christy reports she is feeling fine.
