Due Date

Okay, someone is asking about the due date and since they did not use their name you all get the answer. Original given due date is Jan 16. However, they have told us that many people who have twins come a little early, around the 36 week mark instead of 40. Therefore, we are thinking that it would be somewhere between Dec 20 and Jan 16. Hope all this rambling is useful.

Also want to say thank you to all those who have called, emailed, and or commented on the blog. We appreciate the interest in our soon to be family.

Our Little Girls

Well, here you go. We are having 2 little girls. You may wonder about the one picture, well Baby A was not the most cooperative with the process this morning. I'm guessing she may turn out like someone else in the family, but not 100% sure of that. All I can say is that today really made me realize that my little girls are coming and all I can say is WOW. There are many more pictures, however, I am going to let Christy decide which other ones are coming online. A couple of them are a little X-Rated with arrows and all.

Ultrasound

Well, the doctors kept the schedule today. However, I am at work and will not be putting pictures on until later this evening. I can tell you one thing though. One of them was willing to have pictures taken and the other was not as nice. Both appear to be on the right track as for growth.

Not Yet

Well, went to the doctor today for the ultrasound. Sitting, anticipation, sitting, more anticipation then it comes, we go in and start talking with the ultrasound technician. Christy comments about having twins and the technician says, "twins, we can not do the ultrasound here, you need to go to the hospital and have a level 2 ultrasound. Let me go make a phone and be right back."

She comes back and says, "you need to go to the hospital, can we set you up for an appointment tomorrow morning?"

Christy stayed calm and set the appointment. So I guess you may want to check back tomorrow or Thursday, but remember we are at the whim of others.

Okay enough complaining, I guess in a nut shell it is a good thing as this level 2 does more than just look at the kiddos it will also be more involved and a better idea of how the kids are doing.

Another shot at this

Well, as you can see, not real sure how going to do this yet. I am starting to think this is much better as it goes in order instead of the other website. You will just have to check once in awhile to see if anything new is there. The plan will be to add something at least weekly, but we'll see how that goes.

The nerves are kicking in some, as tomorrow we go for the "BIG" ultrasound, where we may find out what the 2 little dickens are. The reality is also starting to kick in for the proud poppa.

Babies Room

Well after much hard work and a lot of coaching from the outside, Dan finally finished the room.
