well as you know if you check this, we are not very good about adding things. we have decided to end this blog and move the pictures to facebook. christy and i both have accounts at facebook. i am not saying we are better at getting pictures on but that is where it will happen if and when it does. if you have account feel free to friend request us, or one of us if you prefer. if you do not have account, it is free and rather easy to use if you want to start. also, my mom (lynne hofstedt) and sister (deb meyer) also have accounts and they do put pictures and videos of the girls on more than us. i am sure they would also be glad to accept friend request. if you want to be sure just note on the request that you are friends of dan and or christy.

The girls wanted to thank their aunt for the new tent and tunnel they got today with their Christmas gift cards. They had so much fun climbing through the tunnel, Maddie wore herself out and had to rest(inside the tunnel of course). The idea came from their 1 year check up. The doctor's office has a play area that had 2 entrances and both girls had fun playing hide and seek from mommy, while daddy filled out the paperwork. If you can't tell from the pictures, the tent is a castle and has the Disney princesses on the outside, who would have guessed!!!

1st Birthday

Well this is the first time I get to write the blog. Their first birthday was fantastic! First we need to thank the family members who came and made their birthday feel like Christmas all over again. Good thing the girls now have a playroom. As you can see from the pics Mom and Dad made t-shirts for the girls, bet you couldn't tell which one was made by Mom. Little hint...look for the crown not the hockey sticks. The cakes were home made and much to Dad's disappointment I didn't buy bright enough frosting for the girls. I think the pics still show how much they enjoyed the frosting anyway. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed the day.

well, finally we have pictures to share. the girls loved the presents they received from everyone. thank you all. enough chatting, gotta get ready for the birthdays, as it is only a couple days away. come back for pictures of the girls eating their cakes.

here is halloween 08, the devil and pumpkin are regualr outfits that needed to be bought, at least that is my understanding. the bug and doggy are the real costumes for this year. even though they are adorable in all.
